The Works Progress Administration (WPA) was a groundbreaking job program designed to provide unemployed Americans with work and income during the Great Depression. Posters created by the WPA during its history (1935-1943) are characterized as more simplistic than realistic, with pastel colors and socialistic themes.
Many of these posters showed the beauty of the United States, specifically focusing on landmarks and the United States National Parks. Using these as inspiration, I've created posters of my own showing off multiple different areas of interest in my community and surrounding area.
